P.C.O.S vs P.M.O.S
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common (but not normal) hormonal condition that affects how your ovaries function, making it difficult to conceive. PCOS is one of the leading causes of infertility, affecting 1 in 8 women.

Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) is the new name for PCOS. It better explains that the condition is mainly a metabolic issue affecting ovulation and hormone balance, not just a problem with the ovaries. PMOS sheds light on root cause issues, not just cysts on the ovaries.
